Summary

Salvo does not upload your photos or ratings, and contains no analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs. No Salvo account is required.

What stays on your device

Ratings, sessions and cached previews are stored in Salvo’s app storage on your iPad. Photos imported from the photo library are copied into that storage; files opened from a card or folder are read from the location you selected. Salvo does not upload them. Ranking runs entirely on your iPad.

What Salvo does not do

• No account or sign-in.
• Importing, ranking and culling work offline. App Store purchases and restoring purchases use Apple’s services.
• No analytics, tracking, advertising or telemetry SDKs.
• No sharing or selling of data with third parties.

Access to your photos

Salvo only sees the photos you pick: through the system photo picker, or through files and folders you open from Files, an SD card or an SSD. It does not request access to your whole photo library. Salvo never deletes, moves or changes your original photos.

Purchases

Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. Salvo does not receive your payment details.

This website

This website uses no analytics or tracking scripts and sets no cookies itself. It is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes connection information such as your IP address to deliver and protect the site.

Support

If you email support, the email address and information you send are used to respond to your request. Please do not include photos or other personal information unless needed to explain the problem.
