Which devices can I use?
Salvo is designed for iPad and requires iPadOS 17.6 or later. A keyboard is optional; touch controls cover the whole culling workflow.
Which file formats does Salvo support?
RAW files with embedded previews: RW2 (Panasonic), CR3 (Canon), ARW (Sony), NEF (Nikon) and RAF (Fujifilm), RAW+JPEG pairs, plus JPEG and HEIC.
Where are my ratings stored?
On your iPad, inside Salvo's own app storage. Ratings save as you make them and remain available when you reopen the session. Salvo does not upload them.
Does Salvo delete or change my photos?
No. Salvo never deletes, moves or changes your photos, on the card or in your photo library. "Reject" is only a rating. To use your keepers, share their originals (RAW + JPEG) to Files, Lightroom or any app.
What does the free version include?
The complete workflow, up to 300 photos per import. Salvo Pro removes the limit: monthly, yearly, or lifetime. Lifetime is one purchase with every future update included.
How do I restore my purchase on a new iPad?
Sign in with the same Apple Account, open Salvo, and use Restore Purchases on the unlock screen. There is no Salvo account to sign in to.
